1: Ready to start. |

2: Loosen the wheel-nuts, when the vehicle is standing on ground |

Step
3: jack up the vehicle and support on a axlestand or something safe, so You have two different supports in the same time. |

4: Loosen the half shaft bolts. |

Step
5: Before You are loosening the last bolt, It is wise to have a barrel placed underneath, because there will be some oil running out of the halfshaft, when it is loosened. |

Step
6: When all the bolts are removed, the halfshaft may be sit rather tight, but then You can use a sledgehammer and a piece of wood to knock it loose. |

7: It can take some time, but just continue, turn the halfshaft some times, so You knock on different sides. |

8: When the halfshaft is lose, You can pull it out. |

Step
9: When You have it out, You have to cover it with some cloth to prevent it from becoming dirty. |

10: Loosen the 2 bolts, which is holding the brakecaliper. |

11: Remove the retaining pins and clips.. |

12: Then squeze back the brakepads. |

13: Tie up and secure the brakecaliper, so it is not hanging in the brakepipes. |

14: You can use a chissel or a big screwdriver to knock back the lock washer tabs from the lock nut. |

16: Remove the locknut. |

17: Remove the brakedisk.. |

18: loosen the inner 5 bolts. |

19: Knock the two part from each other by using a sledgehammer and a piece of wood. |

20: Just continue from different places, it can be rusty and take some time. |

21: Clean up the Hub with a metal brush. |

22: Use copper grease on the surfaces, where the brake disk shall be fitted. It makes later reneawal easier. |

23: Use a Torchwrench to tighten up the retaining bolts to 65 - 85 Nm = 48 - 59 lbf ft. Check the values in Your workshop manual. |

24: Clean up the disk with alcohol, to remove any grease.. |

25: Here You can see the order in which You have to put back the bearing, washers, loch-washer and lock-nut. Remember to re-grase the bering. |

26: Tighten the Lock-nut, not too hard and then loosen it a small bit (it is not supposed to have too much pressure on the conical bearing). Then recheck the free play of the bearing. |

27: Bend the lock-washer to secure the lock-nut. You can use chissel or a big screwdriver to knock the lock washer tabs into position again. |

28: Put back the brake caliper into place. |

29: Fit the upper and lower bolt, which hold the caliber, and thigthen them. |

30: Clean the flange face of the halfshaft, refit a new gasget, and hten refit the half shaft gently and , and tighten both bolts. Use a Torchwrench to tighten up the retaining bolts to 41 - 52 Nm = 30 - 38 lbf ft. Check the values in Your workshop manual. |

31: Press back the caliper to make space for the brakepads. |

32: Put some coppergrease on hte brakepads to avoid noise. |

33: Insert the new brakepads. |

34: Insert new split pins to secure the brakepads. |

37: Mount the wheel, and jack down the vehicle, and tighten the wheel properly. Finished. |
