1989 Camel Range Rover Expedition vehicle

This 1989 Range Rover is something quite special.
It is a try out to make the ultimate Range Rover experience sparing no expense or time

The Rover factory sponsored off road, cross country races called the Camel Trophy races from 1980 thru 1997. These gruelling ordeals crossed such places as Borneo,Brazil,Mongolia,Sumatra etc.

Each of the Rovers was this factory Yellow color.

This is try out to build of an uncompomising off road Range Rover to replicate the factory "Camel Trophy" trucks with a custom, totally self contained, matching off road aluminum camping trailer to pull behind.

This truck and trailer has been on the cover of several Off road magazines and club news letters.
It can go anywhere and is always the star of any gathering. The truck started out life as a very nice, fully equipped 1989 Range Rover

and now has been upgraded with the following: It  is equipped with: 
-2 in body raise,
-spring lifts,
-rear articulation cones,
-bottom link assembly rock sliders (side)
-custom front and rear bumpers,
-skid plates,

-diff covers,
-rancho long travel shocks,
-3 inch custom snorkel,
-stainless brake lines.
-Mile marker 9000 lb wench. -Custom roof rack with limb risers,
-axe & shovel,
-fuel and water Jerry cans, -hi-lift jack,

-2 back up lamps,
-6 driving lamps.
-super swamper TSL radial tires,
-hi performance 3 inch exhaust,
-co2 air tank,
-Lawrence GPS system,
-Sirius reciever,
-clarion CD changer,

-MTX amplifier,
-kicker subwolfer,
-Reese hand held electric brake contoller.
This range Rover can climb over most anything and has about 2 feet wheel travel plus GPS and killer sound system (in Air conditioned comfort).

The trailer is just as loaded with matching Range Rover hubs and alloy wheels and super swamper tires on a 3500 axle with 10inch electric brakes, gas shocks. It is equipped with Overland roof top tent (72X86), slide out pic nic table, norcold 3 way refridge, propane tank,

1250 watt power inverter, 15 gal fresh water tank, pahague shower, high performance zodi hot tap water heater, 27 cu ft cargo area, 2 5 gal water jerry cans, on board trickle charger and battery system, gravel guards, rear 2X2 receiver with bike rack, off road trailer coupler hitch.
