This is a 1987 Range Rover Olympic Limited edition experimental.

Only 2 or 3 were ever built by Land Rover.
No. 2 were crashed when it was still owned by Land Rover and no. 3 is a question if it ever existed

It is a 2 door ,
Metalic grey with red letters
3.9i, experimental engine EXP5. One of 12 enines built for enginering use based on the Rover SD1 engine (note that the 3.9 engine was not in the RR until 1989)
It has 176 bhp at the wheels at 4550 rpm
It differs from the later 3.9 because it has the fuelinjection of the 3.5
5-speed gearbox.

Originally registered E970CAG or E970KAC,
Chassis number: SALLHABV7EA814204
It is as far as I know the only surviving Olympic
It came of production-line 28. oct.1987, registered 18 nov.1987

A similar car was exhibited at the Birmingham Motorshow in 1986 but had olympic trandfers on the doors and a vertical grille

It is the project leading to the CSK, which came into production in 1990 as a limited edition (200 built).

It was made, to make a sportier Range Rover with Recaro seats and more powerfull engine.
