In the mid 1980's The London land Rover main dealer, Townley Cross Country Vehicles, made several conversions of the Range Rover. These were very exclusive and high quallity vehicles. |

owvner of this main dealership and conversion plant was Peter Zanelli. |

vere something between 50,000 UK pound and 80,000 UK pound, and remember,
this was in 1986. |

Among the conversions were a widened six wheeler with white leather, blue plush and gold, which was ordered by the arab royalty. |

Zanelli concentrated on the coachwork, and the six wheeler chassis and drivetrain was delivered by Safir engineering. |

conversions usually came with sport luxury upholstery, walnut facia and
color keyed carpeting |

The Zanelli plant started in the mid 1970' with secondhand vehicles, and in the mid 1980's it produced about 50 special conversion vehicles pr. year. |

From may 1984 to april 1985 Zanelli sold 700 Range Rover, and in january 1985 he sold half of the allocated Range Rovers for the year |

1977 Zanelli progressed into exporting new vehicles. |
